Editing Links (Lead Promo and Rich Text)
This article will walk you through how to add and change links in Promos and rich text features.
Links allow you to help your page viewers navigate to where you would like them to go. You can create links to other Brightspot pages (internal links) or to another web page (External link). Links can be formatted as either blue underlined text, or as a button. You can add a link at the top of the page in the page promo or in a rich text module under content in the page.
For example, here is a Rich Text link back to the main Brightspot Page.
Promos:
Promos can be found on the top of the page - when you scroll down there will be a URL section
Change the link from a url or a brightspot page by clicking the Internal drop down under
Lead > Items
Insert your link and the button will generate
Rich Text:
Rich text is more customizable and has more variety as a content type.
Create a rich text content (if you are writing an article this is the default)
Write what your button will say and highlight (select) the text
click the link button marked in the picture above.

Change the link from internal or external using the drop down
Internal is for brightspot content
External is for any other URL

+ If you want the button to just appear as text with a link, stop here
+ If you want a blue button follow this step —>
- Before closing the tab select the style tab
- If you closed out: select the linked text and hit the pencil edit button
Select which button you want to use
*the text will still be blue in the text box but the website should show a button.
