Zoom Quick Start Guide

Introduction: Zoom is a video and audio conferencing tool. Please use this site for video and text tutorials on every aspect of getting started using Zoom.

Availability: Zoom is available for free to all BYU faculty, staff, and students. Anyone can join a meeting with you by following the instructions in the email they'll receive as part of your invitation. It is accessible on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux, and via any web browser. Zoom is a program included with the LSIT image meaning that it is likely you already have it installed on devices managed by LSIT.

Installation: If, for whatever reason, you do not already have Zoom installed on your device you can use Software Center (Windows only), or click here and sign in with your BYU Net ID and password to download the Zoom installer.

Signing in: Use SSO to sign in. Type, "BYU," (with no quotes) as the company domain. Then, enter your BYU Net ID and password.
